In an attempt to get to grips with sculpture I attended a two year City and Guilds course at the City Lit in London. Although the course was a problem for me I would recommend it for anyone interested in developing their abilities. It took the students through a range of skills, casting, carving, metalwork, reliefs, in fact a really good taster of all the skills needed to work in sculpture. One of the skills was this fired terra-cotta bust. Life sizes, 35 x 28 x 18cm.
