Charles Darwin, 1809 - 1882.

It took Darwin years of research to develop his theories of evolution. Mainly working on small subjects, peas, barnacles and worms his detailed and thorough work and creative genius paved the foundation of our understanding of the development of all living things, large and small and from ape to man.
